Parking and entrances

Parking is available across from the main entrance on Hill street. Smaller lots are available right on Broadway. The main entrance to the facilities is located facing Hill street. Most people will enter here.   This puts you close to the church office and the Family Life Center. Down the main hallway is the Information Center and side entrance to the sanctuary. There will be be greeters at the door to assist you with any questions. Be sure and stop by the information desk to pick up pertinent information about the church or if you need further assistance.

  • Main Entrance

This entrance is across from the main parking area underneath a protected canopy.   This entrance has a covered drop off area and ground level access in case of inclement weather or for those with mobility concerns.

  • Sanctuary Entrance

If you park off of Broadway this will be the closet entrance for you.  As you enter you will be in a small foyer before entering into the back of the sanctuary.

  • Information center

Located outside the side entrance to the sanctuary and adjacent to the children's worship area you will find the information center.   Coffee is available in this area as well.  Be sure and stop by for information and a quick cup!

Children and Youth on Sunday mornings

When arriving for worship, children will sit with their families until after the children's moment when they will be dismissed to children's church with our staff and volunteers.   Infants and toddlers can be taken to the nursery on the second floor and checked in with the nursery staff.

  • children's area

On the main level just off the sanctuary is where children gather for Children's Church.  Sunday school classes for children are held in our children's area on the upper level near the sanctuary.

  • nursery

Our nursery is available for toddlers and children from newborns to age 5.  There are separate rooms for infants and toddlers.   Ms. Helen cares for the toddlers in the main nursery; the baby room, across the hall, is where Ms. Lynne cares for the little ones.

  • THE BUMC TRIBE (youth Ministries)

Our BUMC Tribe (Youth) meets in room 205  on Sunday during the Sunday School hour.   For meeting times and locations for Sunday night and Wednesday night youth ministry, please visit our youth ministry page

Worship

You will not be embarrassed or asked to identify yourself as a visitor.   We do give you the option of registering your attendance and letting us know you were our guest that day, but you can choose to leave as little or as much information as you like.   You may dress comfortably without worrying about how you are dressed.  Our services last right about  an hour.  For a more detailed description of the services go to our worship page. In between our two worship services there are mulitple Sunday School classes for all ages.  You can find out more about those opportunities here
