Brandenburg United Methodist Church has been serving the community since the late 1800's. While we are proud of this rich tradition, we have a new and compelling vision that is propelling us into the future. You can read about our mission, vision, and values below.
We join with the other United Methodists around the world affirming that our mission is to make disciple of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. That is why we exist and what we are called to do as a church.
To be a church that is self-denying and life giving to others resulting in people coming alive in Christ and connecting to His church.
Jesus gave us the example of a life that was given for others. He did not seek to be served but to serve. We want to be known as a church that serves our community and looks out for the interests of others more than our own interests.
- Those who are far from God matter to us because they matter to God.
- We value serving others more than serving ourselves
- We value relationships and authentic community where ministry and spiritual transformation happen.
